The United States Commercial Service in Poland has moved to a new
location: the IPC Business Center at ul. PoznaĆska 2/4. The new offices
located in the heart of the central business district are a short
distance from the American Embassy and are expected to increase
accessibility for both business and government users.
"This is
an exciting opportunity, because it will make it possible to better
serve American and Polish firms seeking to do business together,"
according to Commercial Counselor Edgar Fulton.
The U.S.
Commercial Service is an agency of the United States Department of
Commerce and is the Commercial Section of the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw.
With increasing business activity and growing interest in Poland as a
trading partner more and more American firms rely upon the assistance
provided by the American Embassy/U.S. Commercial Service. These include
helping them develop their first business contacts in Poland, business
partner screening, evaluating projects, basic market research, and
advocacy related to United States investments in Poland. More
information about services is available on the website.
Trade
and investment between the United States and Poland is expected to grow
significantly in the next few years as a result of the close relations
between the two countries and the economic expansion anticipated in
Poland as a result of European Union accession.
