Embassy Supports Warsaw International Film Festival

The U.S. Embassy in Warsaw is supporting the presentation of five full-length American documentaries under the title “American Mass Culture Icons” announced Cultural Attache, Patrick Lahey. In addition, the Embassy is supporting the premier of two American documentaries at the Warsaw International Film Festival. Slawomir Grunberg’s “Borderline” will have its European premiere and Grunberg’s “Michael and Svetlana” will have its world premiere.

The films can be seen at the Relax Kino, Luna Kino, Silver Screen Kino, and Kino Kultura and will include the following films aside from Grunberg’s premieres:


  • Dan Aykroyd: Unplugged on UFO by Director David Sereda
  • Live from New York: The First 5 Years of Saturday Night Live by Director Ken Bowser
  • Midnight Movies: From the Margin to the Mainstream by Director Stuart Samuels
  • Easy Riders, Raging Bulls: How the Sex, Drugs and Rock’n’Roll Generation Saved Hollywood by Director Ken Bowser
  • Z Channel: A Magnificent Obsession by Director Xan Cassavetes
