Ambassador Ashe greeted high school students from the town of Garnek
On October 20, as part of the Embassy’s “Meet America” program, Ambassador Ashe greeted over 50 high school students from the town of Garnek, in Poland’s Silesia (Śląskie) Province and noted the historically important bilateral relationship between the two countries. In response to the students’ interests in the effects of US culture and media on youth, Embassy representatives spoke about US pop culture, radio stations and media outlets in the US, and the importance of voluntarism.
