3rd Annual GE Foundation Scholar-Leaders' Scholarship Winners Awarded

Counselor for Press and Culture Ed Kulakowski announced that the GE foundation, the philanthropic organization of the General Electric Company, awarded the winners of this year's Scholar-Leaders scholarship program on April 11th. The Institute of International Education (IIE) launched and administers the program on behalf of the GE foundation. 15 second year students selected from Warsaw University, Warsaw Polytechnical, Wroclaw Polytechnical, Lodz Polytechnical, National Louis University in Nowy Sacz, and the Nowy Sacz School of Management received awards in the fields of economics, management, engineering, and technology. The winners receive a 3,000 Euro scholarship, a day shadowing a GE professional in Poland, and the opportunity to participate in a summer leadership seminar. The scholarship is designed to assist these students in developing their human capacity and leadership potential.
