Primary Elections

WARDEN MESSAGE - DECEMBER 7, 2007

PRIMARY ELECTION DATES

2008 is a Presidential Election year, and all American citizens are encouraged to request an absentee ballot as soon as possible to participate in primary voting. The primary season begins January 8th with New Hampshire followed by Michigan.

Under federal law, a citizen may vote in his last place of residence before leaving the United States, even if many years have elapsed since that departure. The earlier you request your ballot, the better!
