High-school students from Gorzkowice, a small town located south-west of Warsaw, visited the Embassy under the Meet America program on March 24. Ambassador to Poland, Victor Ashe, greeted the group and spoke about the close historical ties between the US and Poland. After the Ambassador spoke, Marine Guard Jamie Cody described her life in the U.S. Armed Forces, Fulbright Educational Advisor Ola Augustyniak gave a presentation on “How to Study in the US,” and Information Resource Center Director Jurek Roguski described the services of the center for the general public. In appreciation for the visit, the students performed “If I had a Hammer” for the Ambassador at the end of the program.
