Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs Maura Harty

On January 30th, the Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs (the highest ranking State Department official charged with overseeing worldwide visa operations), Maura Harty, came to Warsaw. Ms. Harty headed the U.S. side during a meeting of the Polish-U.S. Consular working group, a collaborative effort between the U.S. Embassy and the Polish Government to focus attention on Visa Roadmap and other consular matters. Ms. Harty attended a consular conference hosted by the Embassy for U.S. consular officers in Central, Eastern, and some Western European countries.
