After September 11: Images from Ground Zero
6 February 2003About 200 people attended the opening night of "Images from Ground Zero," a photography exhibit sponsored by the U.S. Embassy with support from the Polish Association for Artists and Photographers (ZPAF). The 27 photos on display were selected from among 5000 captured by photographer Joel Meyerowitz, the only photographer granted unimpeded access to the World Trade Center site. The exhibit has attracted extensive TV, radio and press coverage and will be at the Stara Galleria, 8 Plac Zamkowy in Warsaw, through February 28, 2003.
