13 July 2006 As part of the Meet America program, Ambassador Ashe met with a group of students from the Jakub Kolasa High School located in Minsk, Belarus. The group is currently on a training program sponsored by the Catholic Intelligence Club in Warsaw. They visited the Embassy on July 11. The Ambassador welcomed the group, explained the close US/Polish bilateral relationship, and touched on the collaborative efforts between Poland and the US targeted at developing Belarusian democracy.
