Ambassador Ashe and Minister Sewerynski

On February 3, Ambassador Victor Ashe met with Minister of Education and Science Michał Sewerynski. They discussed a broad range of educational and exchange issues including the Fulbright Program, student exchanges and visas, the Summer Work and Travel Program, and the introduction of English language instruction in Polish primary schools. The Minister thanked the Ambassador for supporting this English language initiative and for working to create more opportunities for Polish young people to study in the United States. In connection with President Kaczynski’s upcoming trip to Washington, the Ambassador and Minister also discussed the Science and Technology and Fulbright Agreements.
