Ambassador Ashe and Minister Lipiec

On February 3 the Ambassador met with Minister of Sport Tomasz Lipiec. The Minister discussed his plans for the new Ministry, Poland’s prospects for the upcoming Winter Olympics and the government’s efforts to maintain contact with former Polish Olympians. Minister Lipiec, a well-known athlete, mentioned that he used to train in Colorado Springs. The Ambassador suggested several ways the Embassy and Ministry could continue to cooperate in the near future.
