On March 6, the Embassy kicked off its week-long speaker’s program with Ms. Norma Hotaling, founder of Stand Against Global Exploitation (SAGE). Ms. Hotaling met with various government officials, Polish NGOs, and members of the international community at a reception at the residence of Ambassador Victor Ashe, hosted by Mrs. Joan Ashe. Ms. Hotaling impressed all guests with her frank, honest assessment of the problems of trafficking in persons, forced prostitution, and child exploitation. She also inspired listeners with her personal experience fighting to protect women and children for the past 13 years in San Francisco and all across the globe.
