Air Command and Staff College Representatives Visit Warsaw

logoFour students and three faculty members from the Air Command and Staff College (ACSC) at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama will be visiting Warsaw between 17 and 23 May to participate in the annual Polish-sponsored, multinational exercise known as Air Shield.  This exchange between ACSC and the Polish National Defense University (NDU) has been taking place since 2007.  Faculty and students from Poland's NDU have traveled to the US to participate in an annual USAF-hosted event known as Joint Air Operations Wargame.  Both exercises focus on joint air operations planning.  This year's exercise in Warsaw involves participants from the US, Germany, Czech and Slovak Republics.  The exchange has proven to be a great success, both in helping to strengthen relationships among allies, as well as augmenting the military colleges' cultural programs.
