Medical Planners Exercise

Center for Disaster and Humanitarian Medicine is sponsoring a medical planner’s exercise that will be held at the National Defense University, 21-24 September 2009. Personnel from the Center will meet with over 60 Polish medical planners to discuss techniques and processes when dealing with an avian / pandemic influenza scenario. This is the first event of its kind to test the Avian Influenza / Pandemic Influenza (AI / PI) processes in a table top exercise environment.  The United States European Command Office of Defense Cooperation coordinated this event to assist Polish governmental and Polish Armed Forces medical professional’s individual development skills and to provide a venue to test their crisis action planning.
