PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE SOLICITATION

The American Embassy, Warsaw hereby provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice in respect of the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for:

Life Insurance for Local Employed Staff at the American Embassy, Warsaw and American Consulate, Krakow.

The General Services Office at the American Embassy, Warsaw, Poland intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) under full and open competition procedures for Life insurance services. 

It will be a requirement for potential contractors to be in possession of all required permits and licenses to perform life insurance services in Poland.  Communication, correspondence and documentation must be in English.  Issuance of the subject solicitation is estimated to occur on or about August 18th, 2009.

The U.S. Government intends to award a five-year contract (October 15th, 2009 – October 14th, 2013) to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. 

Companies interested in the solicitation shall express their interest by written correspondence to the attention of Robert Ruehle at the fax number 48-22-504-2484 or e-mail GSO_Warsaw@state.gov , using the solicitation number SPL900-09-R-0876 in the subject line.  All requests for a copy of the solicitation MUST include the following information: name of firm, name of representative, telephone and fax numbers, email and complete physical and mailing address.  The solicitation package will only be available by application to this office and will not be posted electronically.
