PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE
SOLICITATION No.  SPL900-09-R-1021

The American Embassy, Warsaw hereby provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice in respect of the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for:

Patio Enclosure Construction Project at the Consul General’s Residence at Grottgera  12, Krakow, Poland.

The General Services Office at the American Embassy, Warsaw, Poland intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) under full and open competition procedures for construction services.  The work consists of enclosure of the patio (40 sqm) of the representational residential property. (more)

The Government intends to award a Fixed-Price Construction Contract for this project.  Total cost estimates ranges between $100,000 -$250,000 and the performance period is targeted to take approximately nine weeks from June to August 2009.

It will be a requirement for potential contractors to be in possession of all required permits and licenses to perform general construction work in Poland.  Communication, correspondence and documentation must be in English.  Issuance of the subject solicitation is estimated to occur on or about May 1, 2009.
