In honor of the birthday of the Polish Navy, founded November 28, 1918, U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe visited the Polish Navy Headquarters in Gdynia on November 27 where he met with Lieutenant Commander Adam Krysiewicz and Deputy Commander-in-chief of the Polish Navy, Vice Admiral Marek Bragoszewski. At the Gdynia-Oksywie Navy Base, the Ambassador met with the crews of the Oliver Hazard Perrry-type missile frigates and with the crews of the SH2G Super SeaSprite helicopters, which Poland received through a grant from the United States. Ambassador Ashe extended his best wishes to the sailors on the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the Polish Navy.
