Central Park Gates Come To Poland

On June 13 Ambassador Ashe and Bulgarian Ambassador Latchezar Petkov will open an international photo exhibit in Warsaw.

The exhibit entitled "The Saffron Gates: Central Park, New York" was photographed by Polish-American artist Sabina Szafrankowska.

The “Gates” project by Jeanne Claude and Christo Javaczev a Bulgarian born Artist were displayed in New York’s Central Park in February 2005.

The Warsaw exhibition is organized in cooperation with The Adam Mickiewicz Institute of Warsaw and will be at the Bulgarian Institute of Culture through July 30.
