Renewals
It takes approximately two weeks to receive a new passport once you submit the application. We encourage you to check your passport for the expiration date and to apply early for renewal.
Everyone (including minors) seeking to renew a U.S. passport must apply in person at the American Citizen Services office at Embassy Warsaw, Consulate General Krakow, or the Consular Agency in Poznan.
The fees for passport renewals are:
- for adults - 110 dollars
- for adults who previously possessed a 5 year children's passport - 135 dollars
- for children - 105 dollars
Fees are in U.S. dollars or the equivalent in Polish currency, payable in cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Novus/Discover, Diners). We cannot accept payment by check.
You will need 1 passport photo, 5cm x 5cm, taken within the last six months. The photograph should be colour and must be front view, full-face taken in normal street attire.
