Polish Domestic Affairs

Political Section staff concerned with Polish Affairs develop contacts across a broad section of Polish society, especially among political parties, members of the Sejm and Senate, and social organizations, in order to advance U.S. policy goals and to analyze the impact of political developments on U.S.-Polish relations and U.S. policy goals.  Among these are increasing cooperation in fighting trafficking in persons, and advancing Polish-Jewish understanding.
