Ambassador Ashe Visits Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie Regions

From September 5th through September 8th Ambassador Victor Ashe traveled through the Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie regions of Poland. Ambassador Ashe met with the mayors of Wejherowo, Lębork, Słupsk, Darlowo, Koszalin, and Kołobrzeg as well as the Bishop of Saint Wyszyńskiego. Ambassador Ashe said, “People forget I am the Ambassador to Poland…not just Warsaw.”

Ambassador Ashe also had the opportunity to visit Słowiński National Park, the Muzeum Pomorza Środkowego, the Zamek Kisążąt Pomorskich, the Social Initiative Center in Społecznych, the Koszalin Technical University, the Local Partnership Program in Kołobrzeg, the Prussian Fortress in Kołobrzeg, and the Międzydroje Wolin National Park.

It was a whirlwhind tour of the Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie regions that highlights Ambassador Ashe’s efforts to touch every corner of Poland. Ambassador Ashe thanks all the local officials he met with for their hospitality and informative meetings.
