19 November 2002Ten American companies will visit Poland November 21-22 with the goal of developing stronger ties with Polish businesses. The Eastern Trade Council, an organization that includes ten U.S. states, is sponsoring the trip to Warsaw.
According to Edgar Fulton, U.S. Commercial Counselor "This trade mission is an excellent example of the commitment that we have made to deepen the commercial relationship between Poland and the United States. Over the next two days, these U.S. firms will gain important insights into the Polish market and will meet with potential Polish partners. My hope is that they will return home with concrete plans to work closely with Polish industry."
According to Maureen Mezie, International Trade Director for the Eastern Trade Council, "The ten firms participating in this Mission represent cutting-edge U.S. goods and services. They are excited about the prospects of doing business in Poland and look forward to building long-term relationships with Polish companies."
The visiting companies include exporters, new investors and those already on the Polish market. The businesses represent the aircraft, security, environmental and gaming industries, as well as one student exchange program.
