Chief of the U.S. Embassy’s American Citizen Services Chris Snipes spoke about American culture in Radom.
Chief of the U.S. Embassy’s American Citizen Services Section Christopher Snipes spoke about American culture in Radom on Friday, May 22 to a group of 100 university students at the Radom Academy of Economics as part of their annual Dialogue Days of World Cultures. The event was intended to foster greater understanding among the students of world culture. Chris Snipes presented the American perspective on multiculturalism in the U.S. to explain the concept to the audience and show how people of different cultures, ethnicities, races and languages live and work side by side in the U.S. manifesting tolerance and respect for their respective cultures.
The Dialogue Days of World Cultures event at the Radom Academy of Economics is organized under the patronage of UNESCO Polish Committee, in cooperation with the Mayor’s office. The event was initiated to make students and citizens of the city more familiar with culture, traditions, language and customs of different countries in the world. Main goal of this initiative is to promote a dialogue between the representatives of different cultures, religions and their integration for mutual understanding.
