On June 9, 2009, Consul Michelle Biskup visited the high school in the School Complex of High Schools No 1 in Konskie.  She gave a presentation to students, teachers and local officials about the U.S. educational system and opportunities for foreigners to study in the U.S.  Following the presentation, Ms. Biskup answered questions from the students, which allowed them a unique opportunity to practice their very good English skills with a native speaker.  Ms. Biskup also toured the school and the town, and met with the regional government officer to discuss future cooperation between Konskie and the U.S. Embassy.
