The Press and Cultural Affairs Attaché, Edward Kulakowski, opened the exhibit entitled “Justice Illuminated: The Art of Arthur Szyk” at the Palace Poznanski in Łódz on September 7, 2005. The exhibit is sponsored by the U.S. Embassy, the Arthur Szyk Society, and the Taube Foundation for Jewish Life & Culture, in cooperation with the Jewish Historical Institute. Several hundred people attended the opening and welcomed the work of Szyk, a Łódz native, home. The exhibit will be at the Palace Poznanski in Łódz from September 8-October 3, 2005.
