On May 29 and 30 Ambassador Ashe traveled to Kutno, Konin, Wrzesnia, Gniezno, Poznan, Ostrow Wielkopolski, and Kalisz. He met with local leaders in each city, including mayors, the Bishop of Kalisz, the Archbishop of Gniezno, and the Wojewod of Wielkopolskie Province. The Ambassador discussed the importance of local government, transportation infrastructure, and economic development.
