Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle led a trade delegation from his home state to Poland on November 14th. Over the course of four days the delegation, comprised of prominent Wisconsin business leaders, academics, and public servants met with a variety of Polish contacts including a visit to the Warsaw University of Technology, a luncheon with the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland, a reception with local business leaders at the U.S. Ambassador’s residence, and meetings with the Minister of Economy and the Prime Minister's office. In his speech at the American Chamber of Commerce luncheon Governor Doyle emphasized that trade was a two way street and encouraged Poles to sample Wisconsin cheese, “the best cheese in the world.”
