U.S. Ambassador to Poland Victor Ashe hosted a promotion ceremony at his residence on November 20 for Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Ray P. Wojcik, Army Affairs Officer, of the U.S. Embassy Warsaw’s Office of Defense Cooperation. “LTC Wojcik serves our country and our Embassy with distinction. I am honored to take part in his promotion ceremony,” said Ambassador Ashe. LTC Wojcik has served in the U.S. Army for over 19 years and was promoted from Major to Lieutenant Colonel. Ernie Wojcik, his father, attended the ceremony and assisted Ambassador Ashe "pinning" on the new rank.
