The American Embassy, in collaboration with Arden 2, an organization for developing international dialogue in the arts, and the California-based Transversal Theater Company, co-founded by philosopher/playwright Bryan Reynolds, are pleased to present Reynolds’s new play Woof, Daddy -- an explosive theater-noir psychological thriller in which a father’s duck-hunting reunion with his son is haunted by the reckless presence of his dead dog and the mysterious vanishing of his daughter.
Woof, Daddy will be performed at Teatr Rampa na Targowku on Thursday April 28th at 8:00PM. Following the performance Bryan Reynolds will give a lecture on his play. As the Head of Doctoral Studies in Theater at the University of California at Irvine, and since earning his B.A.. degree at the University of California at Berkeley and his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees at Harvard University, Reynolds has been developing his transversal philosophy, which he has published in a number of books.
Transversal Theater and Woof, Daddy in particular, bring together the theories of Reynolds’s with an ensemble of some of the most talented theater artists in the United States. Woof, Daddy is an experience not to be missed.
