Young Learners Resource Centers
Young Learners Resource Center logo
The American Embassy invites teachers of English at the elementary level to visit our Young Learners Resource Centers (YLRCs) in Warsaw, Wrocław, Łódź, Szczecin, Gdańsk, Lubartów, Września and Kraków. YLRCs provide teachers with opportunities to improve their teaching methodologies and acquire curricula for teaching English to young learners.
The collection includes teaching methodology books that can be borrowed or copied, as well as handouts with practical materials for classroom use, including lesson plans. The Resource Center has a “processing corner” where teachers are able to use a die cut machine or laminator to prepare their own teaching materials for classroom use. YLRCs enable teachers to work together, exchange ideas and establish a sense of community amongst English teachers. All resources are free of charge.
The Young Learners Resource Centers are a joint project of the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw and local institutions and/or governments.
