U.S. – Poland Energy Cooperation Roundtable to be Held in Washington

Leading Polish and American energy experts from both the government and the private sector will participate in a U.S.-Poland Energy Roundtable in Washington, DC. Deputy Economy Minister Marcin Korolec will lead the Polish contingent, which includes executives from the Department of Nuclear Energy, the Department of Oil and Gas, the Office of the Chief Geologist, PGE, Tauron, Orlen, LOTOS, and other important Polish energy entities. The U.S. side will include participation from the Departments of Commerce, Energy, State, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ConocoPhillips, AES, GE, Westinghouse and many others. Clean coal technology, renewable energy, nuclear power, shale gas, and smart grid applications will be themes of separate breakout sessions at the event which will be held June 22 & 23 at the U.S. Energy Association in Washington, DC.
