Linda R. Hoover's Biography

Linda Hoover - Consul General, Warsaw, PL

Linda joined the Foreign Service in 1993 and has served in Warsaw, Frankfurt, Munich, Washington, Islamabad, and Riyadh, with temporary postings to Bosnia, Moscow, and Tashkent.  Her career to date has been primarily as a consular officer, but she has also done political, economic, and refugee work.  She speaks German, Polish, and Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian.

Linda is from the Midwest and graduated from the University of Wisconsin.  She is married, and has a son and a daughter.
