Message To Travel Agents

We recognize that travel agents play an indispensable role in facilitating travel to the United States, not only as a provider of travel services but also as a source of information and assistance.  We hope the following information will help you better respond to the needs of clients who plan to apply for a non-immigrant visa in Warsaw.

When you are asked to prepare an application on behalf of a client, please refer to Tips on Completing Your Application. Though addressed to applicants, these tips provide useful guidelines for preparers as well. Please make sure that applicants have a confirmation number (Application ID) and the answer for the security question at the time of the interview with the consul officer, in a case of any updates in their DS-160.

Applicants often ask whether they should bring supplementary documents such as an Affidavit of Support or letter of invitation.  While they are free to do so, such documents are not required and may not be examined by the consular officer if they will not affect the determination of an applicant's eligibility for a visa. Please refer to Required Documents for details.

Some of your clients may be uncertain how they will receive their visas if their applications are approved. Note that our policy is to return all passports by courier. Delivery can take up to five working days, and applicants should take this into account when making their travel plans. Applicants should complete a DHL Express Address Form (PDF - 196 KB) before coming for their visa interview.
